My Journey With Homeopathy
Born and raised in India, a well-known hub of homeopathy, I was always skeptical about the healing powers of this God-given medicine. It wasn’t until my own health struggles forced me to look outside the box and explore other healing modalities that I found this transformative, life-changing medicine.
A physician and a published researcher, I lost faith in the medical system after going through my own health challenges and not finding the answers in the system I trusted so much. I always knew there was another way.......a better way! That was the beginning of my journey to find a form of medicine that heals from the inside out, stimulating the body’s own healing abilities and uprooting the illness by addressing the root cause, instead of providing a band-aid approach. After exploring alternatives like Naturopathy and Functional Medicine, I circuitously discovered the realm of homeopathy, which helped me unearth the answers I was seeking. I experienced profound healing for my chronic gut issues, stemming from a previous surgical intervention. The results were gobsmacking!
With such reassurance and an insatiable thirst for knowledge, there was no way I could go back to my old life. My application of homeopathy transcended boundaries, extending to my cherished kin, friends, neighbors and all those who were willing to embrace this gentle yet powerful form of medicine. I pursued homeopathy courses one after another until I finally enrolled in The Academy of Practical Homeopathy which enabled me to become a certified Practical Homeopath. I then went on to complete a Masters level program in homeopathy. As a homeopath, one never stops learning and in my quest for going deeper and following my passion to excel in my craft, I decided to enroll in The College of Practical Homeopathy in England for another postgraduate level program, graduating with a licentiate degree from this esteemed college.
Last but not the least, I’m very grateful for the several opportunities I’ve had, to observe with a prominent fourth-generation homeopath in India. He and his father along with their team of homeopaths treat over a hundred patients per homeopath per day, run a free clinic in the evening and have a whopping 25 million case records in their clinic. They use protocols in their practice, which have been developed over the last one hundred years.

Experience
Prior to my experience with homeopathy, I was a physician and a published researcher.
I received my training in conventional medicine from India and moved to the United States to do a Masters in Public Health (MPH). In addition, I have worked as a researcher at the only Comprehensive Cancer Care Center in the state of FL. This led to many publications along the way and a permanent residency in the “Outstanding Researcher” category.
As a conventional doctor, I never expected to turn to alternative medicine for my own health. However, after a life-altering surgery, employing homeopathic treatments to address both my own health concerns and those of my family yielded transformative results and propelled me to pursue homeopathy as a profession and advocate for its adoption as a gentle and efficacious form of medicine.
