Queries regarding natural healing:
Homeopathy differs from conventional medicine in several aspects. Where pharmaceuticals suppress symptoms, homeopathy uses these very symptoms to find the right remedy & eventually uproot them.
Homeopathic remedies are cost-effective when compared to conventional medicines, typically priced at an average of $10–$20 per bottle and containing multiple doses.
The difference between homeopathic medicines and allopathic drugs is not one of simply substances, formulas, dilutions and labels. It is a difference in philosophies as well! Are you a number or a person? Consumer or seeker? Are symptoms to be destroyed or valued? You decide.
While homeopathic remedies are derivatives of natural substances, it is essential to distinguish homeopathy from other natural healing modalities such as herbalism or Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Homeopathy works as a distinctive therapeutic system and the term "homeopathy" is not an umbrella term to describe other natural therapies.
Despite facing consistent opposition from the conventional medical establishment, homeopathy has survived and thrived since the 1800s. By 1900, there were 22 homeopathic medical schools, over 100 homeopathic hospitals, more than 60 orphan asylums and homes for the elderly, and over 1000 homeopathic pharmacies in the United States alone. These impressive figures highlight profound impact that homeopathy has had on American society. For a comprehensive understanding of the historical developments of homeopathy, we recommend the following book by Dana Ullman: The Homeopathic Revolution
Practical Homeopathy® is a practical and protocol-based approach to homeopathy. Developed by the renowned Banerji family, from Kolkata (India), this method has been refined over four generations since 1863 and has been backed by extensive research conducted by international institutes. The greater mission of practical homeopathy is to provide healing to as many individuals as possible through a simplified, standardized, and scientific application of homeopathy.
Through their protocols, they have demonstrated a remarkable success rate, with 80% of patients experiencing a potential healing from their first line of medicines.
Combination remedies are homeopathic products that combine various different homeopathic remedies. Each remedy within the combination is carefully selected for its ability to support the body in healing specific conditions. For instance, a combination remedy designed for earaches may incorporate the five most commonly utilized homeopathic remedies for this ailment. The aim is to provide individuals with a remedy containing the optimal combination to address their specific condition. These combination remedies are commonly employed for uncomplicated acute conditions.
Homeopathic medicines are recognized as drugs in the United States and are subject to regulation by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The FDA regulates the manufacturing, marketing, and sale of homeopathic remedies. These remedies are carefully produced by homeopathic pharmacies complying with the standards and procedures outlined in the Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of the United States (HPUS). Serving as the official manufacturing manual for homeopathic remedies in the US, the HPUS provides crucial information for accurate identification of raw materials, manufacturing techniques, and quality control measures.
These remedies are generally considered to be non-drowsy, non-habit-forming, and non-toxic. Moreover, they are free from known side effects and do not interact with other medications.
“ Homeopathy has been used for more than 200 years, building a remarkable safety record and generating a great body of knowledge. Homeopathic medicines do not mask symptoms, are not contraindicated with pre-existing conditions, and are not known to interact with other medications or supplements, making them one of the safest choices for self-treatment.” - Boiron
A wide range of over-the-counter homeopathic remedies could be found at natural health food stores, homeopathic pharmacies, online retailers, traditional grocery stores and even in select pharmacies.

In most cases, health insurance DOES NOT provide coverage for homeopathic consultations.
The relationship between a homeopath and their client is not that of a patient and a prescriber, it is rather that of a learner and an educator. The Homeopath does not prescribe, advise or make any health decisions for their clients but rather informs them about the specialized avenues available to deal with the totality of symptoms experienced by them. It is sole discretion of the client to decide whether or not to utilize the information provided.
When taking homeopathic remedies, we strive to meet three distinct criteria. Achieving one criterion is a positive sign, fulfilling two is even more encouraging, and meeting all three reassures that we are moving in the right direction. The criteria we focus on are as follows:
1) Less intensity to the symptoms.
2) Lasting for a shorter period of time.
3) Symptoms present with a larger space between episodes.
An important consideration: the process of healing is not always linear. It's normal to experience occasional setbacks along with progress. Our goal is to achieve net improvement, even if it is gradual, ideally after a two-month period. It is our aim to help you recover fully, reducing the need for frequent visits, and ideally, eliminating the necessity of further consultations altogether.
Certain substances have been known to antidote (cancel out) homeopathic remedies, particularly in sensitive people. • Camphor
• Mint/Menthol
• Eucalyptus Oil

• Peppermint Oil

• Strong Chemical Odors
• Strong Paint Odors
• Ammonia
• Strong Coffee (unless part of your daily routine)
